Deliriously Jetlagged

[dropcap]H[/dropcap]i gang! I’m back from the other side of the globe. Just Saturday I was sipping on a coconut watching the waves and then on Sunday morning, I was slogging to Tesco to buy milk in the rain. My brain is as confused as that statement because the jetlag is unreal. I should probably step away from the computer because my body is convinced it’s still in Bali and my brain is impatiently tapping it’s foot waiting for it to catch up.

I had written a version of this post whilst fighting the jetlag yesterday and trying to battle against an early bedtime of 6pm. But reading it back this morning…it made no sense. I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed (which only ever occurs when I’m jetlagged) at 6am. Is this how morning people feel everyday?

It was nice to wake up in my own bed again, with the weight of fat Peppy on my feet and thankful that I took an extra day off to catch up with reality (and get the holiday clothes washed and put away) I do love a potter about the house and today is all about the pottering.

My photos of Singapore, Lombok and Bali are slowly being edited and posts to come! I had a wonderful time catching up with old friends, eating delicious food and exploring and getting to know Bali. It’s nice to be on the blog again. x
