Life Lately | Autumn Equinox

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text][dropcap]E[/dropcap]veryday, the thought of checking myself into a hotel for the night crosses my mind, ooooh, about eleventy million times a day. I think about waking up in crisp white sheets, and stretching my arms out wide. In this daydream, my hair is perfect and my teeth are Crest Strip white. Everything is clean and tidy and it is a world where dust bunnies do not exist. BBC Breakfast informed me the other day as I was getting ready for work- that it was the Autumn Equinox. It’s official, we are 100% into Autumn now.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8803″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]-My Patronus is a Grey Dappled Stallion- so, a fashionably challenged boy horse? I can work with that. Find yours at Pottermore, if you haven’t already. (Also, I created a new Pottermore account just to see if I’d be Sorted in the same way- I became a Gryffindor/Thunderbird with a Ibizan Hound Patronus. Curiously, still a phoenix feather core wand waver) My Hufflepuff/Pukwudgie self isn’t sure how to handle this information. Please advise.

– My Warm Apple Pie candle from Bath and Body Works. I signed up to a mail forwarding service (in the end I went with Viabox) and thanks to the US address they assigned me, I was able to go mad on the Bath and Body Works website. I also got Leaves and Autumn, but the Warm Apple Pie is so delicious smelling and my favourite. It really does smell of buttery pie crust and apples. It took about 2 weeks for my parcel to arrive but oooh so worth the wait.

– I miss cooking and pottering around a kitchen. I can’t wait to get my hands on the new oven- first thing to make, is maybe a pumpkin pie (assuming we’re still in Autumn when it finishes!) or even a (Buzzfeed worthy) Yorkshire Pudding sandwich.

– H&M knitwear. With all my winter clothes packed away in a North London storage facility, I had 2 emergency jumpers on rotation for when it became chilly. I caved and thanks to lovely H&M, I bought an armful of knits that didn’t cost me the earth. Autumn, now I am ready for you![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”8790″ img_size=”1000×1500″ alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]-If we’re talking A/W wear, than I’m so happy that this parka jacket is back in stock. Parka jackets are my winter staple. Snuggly as well as rain/wind/snow proof. (PLEASE LET IT SNOW THIS YEAR)

-Alexander Skarsgaard came into my building earlier and excuse me while I’m still mentally spasming from it all. What do they put in the water over in that Scandinavia?

-Iliza Shlesinger might sound like a name you’re struggling to say when you’ve done 8 too many shots of Sambucca, but her stand up show on Netflix is hilarious. I’ve since Youtubed stalked her for more clips. See what I mean here

What are your weekend plans? Mine involve getting up early because builders and trying to find somewhere to hide out for the day before braving the outdoors on Sunday for a little market action. Hygges and kisses :)[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
