[dropcap]T[/dropcap]HIS year, The Prince’s Trust is celebrating it’s 40th year. My first encounter with the Prince’s Trust was a very random and kind of bizarre event at my university- where both Prince Charles and Jay Z visited our campus (this actually happened, it was not a fever dream) and my friend Alexis curtsied and squeezed in the word ‘fantastical’ to His Royal Highness (‘allegedly’)
Anyway, back on track, Angela…
WHAT IS THE PRINCE’S TRUST?
If you’ve not heard of the Prince’s Trust before, it’s main aim is to help and support vulnerable young people and to give them the tools and skills needed to help them build a better life for themselves- and they’ve been doing this for 40 years. That’s thousands and thousands of lives they’ve helped into education or into jobs. I know…actual fantastical work! Read some success stories here
HOW CAN I HELP OR GET INVOLVED?
There are volunteering opportunities or you can simply donate, here. Although, if there’s one thing you do today, watch this clever and thought provoking Parallel Lives campaign video- or show your support on twitter with #TogetherWeCan
