[dropcap]I[/dropcap]t’s Friday, at long last. I know it’s only been a 4 day week, but I am feeling particularly grateful that we’re at the end of the it. London has felt too angsty and grumpy this week. I’ve watched arguments unfold on the tube, in the street, on email, and generally just really snotty behaviour all round. And that’s locally. Every newspaper I pick up is full of heartbreak. Everything feels too much at the moment, everywhere. Can we just take a moment to breathe and be kind to each other?
Have you seen Wet, Hot, American Summer? It’s one of my favourite movies, it’s so silly and…well, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler and Janeane Garofalo is all I have to say. I’ll be catching up with the prequel shows on Netflix this weekend!
I’m determined to embrace the early onset of Autumn and have all the ingredients to bake a pumpkin pie on Sunday. Let’s hope I don’t let it brown too much this time!
I’ve been searching high and low for the perfect Winter coat, having finally called it a day with my usual go to (I’ve run out of spare buttons!) This one from Mango is currently on my coveted list to fulfil my Isabel Marant wardrobe dreams.
Roll on Sunday, to snuggling in bed with Pepper and Louie- the two best furry monsters in the world.
Happy weekend all.
