June gets a gold star from me this month- it’s been packed full of fun and good feels and because all the planets must be aligned, the wonderful blogs in my sidebar have also been packed with the good feels. It’s been nice hitting their blogs everyday to see what’s new in their worlds. I say it all the time, but I love this world of blogging and connectivity between one person to the next- you just never know who you’ll ‘meet’ and I hope you fall for these blogs as much as I have. I’ve traveled the world with Kelly (and her shoes), gotten lost in Sarah’s dreamy blog (so pretty, it hurts), poured over Georgina’s gorgeous rural home (and her kitten Bert), escaped into Angie’s luxurious world (in Paris and Rome this month!) and welcomed back Miho with her lovely prose and enviable food photos (don’t read it hungry!)
Kelly, is from New Zealand but calls Bedfordshire home. I’ve immersed myself into Kelly’s blog, especially when we were still looking for a quick getaway after our wedding. She’s been to Marrakesh, Croatia, and is probably en route to Hong Kong and Malaysia as this post goes live! I can’t wait to see the pics from that travel post. Kelly doesn’t just visit far flung places, but will also inspire you to take advantage of ol’ Blighty- have a read about Audley End House and Gardens to get your Jane Austen dreams out! With gluten free dining posts, inspiration for more travel adventures and of course, shoes, you’ll love Around the World in 80 Pairs of Shoes.
There’s an air of calm and indeed daydreaminess on Sarah’s blog- it’s simple, clean and beautifully curated. There’s something for everyone on her blog- wether it’s her Travel posts, Happy Lists, or her lovely photography, you’ll find yourself wanting to pin every post! Sarah also writes my favourite kind of posts, a Life Lately series- I just love the little tidbits peering into someone’s life. My wanderlust is at an all time high in Summer and this travel memories post made me want to email her immediately with my similar stories! I’m looking forward to watching her document the progress on the house she’s just bought; I found myself smiling like a Cheshire cat, as like Sarah, I too have no problem going out covered in paint and yes, B&Q and Wickes are always there in times of need! I adore Daydreams of Summertime and I think you will too 🙂
Firstly- Georgina is in fact a Librarian. The job of my dreams! To be surrounded by all those lovely books all day-it’d be too good. Blogging from Lincolnshire, Georgina’s blog is a really wonderful space to escape into. And not just because of Bert, although he is a furry dreamboat. I’ve loved nosing through her home posts– that yellow armchair is so gorgeous and she’s created the gallery wall of dreams. Can you tell I’m a big fan of home decor posts? Her home belongs on Apartment Therapy, seriously. Her recipes are delicious too; they’re just always so well put together and healthy. Her latest, Spinach and Red Pepper Quiche, should be a Summery picnic staple!
This month, Angie of Silverspoon London has been eurotripping in Paris and Rome! How cute is this photo with the vintage 2CV? I love it! It’s conjures up all sorts of quintessential Parisian daydreams. Can a blog be both informative and escapist? Because Angie’s blog is. Stuck for a date night destination? Head to Silverspoon London. Need tips and advice for a trip away? Head to Silverspoon London. It’s chockablock full of great restaurants in London, and indeed everywhere Angie goes! Bookmark it, because it will become your go-to. One of my favourite posts of hers this month- cute Parisian adventures aside- is her take on the Taste of London festival, because it was an amazing day!
Miho’s blog has been a regular read of mine for as long as I’ve been blogging. This month, Miho has been spending alot of time in France- seriously, look at her photos in Provence, because they are just postcard perfect. One of my favourite kind of posts from Miho (aside from the ones in which E cooks– because that man deserves a restaurant!) are her restaurant posts. Her latest post on Koya Noodle Bar is super handy, because as Miho helpfully points out, its the same food as the now closed Koya restaurant. I also really value her opinion on the best spots to eat Japanese food! I just know you’ll love Wander to Wonder, it’s a beautiful blog 🙂
What an amazing bunch of wanderlust filled and delicious blogs! I hope you’ll enjoy getting lost in them as I have. That’s the best part of blogging- connecting to other blogs, making friends, exclaiming “hey, me too!” from time to time. It’s a wonderful community, and one I’m so happy to be a part of!
