Festival vibes with New Look

[dropcap]Y[/dropcap]ou can take the girl out of the tropics but not the tropics out of the girl! Seeing palm prints creep into the shops for this Summer are making my heart sing. At this time of year there’s always such anticipation for SUMMER- the barbecues come out in the supermarkets, the sun stays out later each day and I can’t wait to get my first taste of Pimms of the year and start planning my fun in the sun. It’s been awhile since I traipsed through a field to watch my favourite bands, but I do indulge in a London festival every year like Wireless. My festival uniform has to be comfortable but pretty; New Look sent me this palm print jumpsuit and I can’t wait to put it to work this Summer.

I had fun playing around with the gold temporary tattoos, which you can’t really see in the photos, but they were easy to put on and came off in the shower that night.

As the sun began to set, the wind felt chillier and I was glad my legs were covered. I just wrapped a scarf around my shoulders and I was snug! Extra points for practicality! And unlike other jumpsuits or playsuits, this was easy to get in and out of, because what festival experience isn’t complete without a thousand trips to the portaloos?

  1. same here, I find it really hard to find one that i like! I’m smaller on top than the bottom, so finding one that isn’t baggy in all the wrong places is tough! This one wasn’t too fitted and I felt like I could breathe…or maybe even eat a big lunch!
