I am so excited to write about my first ‘real’ Sidebar Superstars post! These awesome people have been in my sidebar for the past month and I hope you like them as much as I do. They’re all packed with colourful outfits, delicious food, funny and thoughtful anecdotes and just the ticket to get yourself lost in their worlds (hot cup of tea optional…but that’s part of the fun, amirite?!)

Wander to Wonder

Miho writes the London lifestyle blog, Wander to Wonder, and I’ve been following her for the longest time- ever since I started blogging! Even if you’re not the slightest bit hungry, reading through her blog will give you serious food envy. Her husband E is an awesome cook and I love reading about what he’s whipped up in their home; if Robin cooked like that, I’m sure I’d never want to eat out again! Wander to Wonder is beautifully written too- Miho is enviably eloquent with her words. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Miho in person; not only can she rock a red lip but she is every bit as charming as her blog. My favourite post this month has got to be A Double Birthday Gourmet Dinner (those homemade macarons!)

Bumpkin Betty

I met Jaclyn a few months ago at the BBC Good Food Show; her blog is just gorgeous and is definitely one of the most beautifully designed ones I have the pleasure of reading (and seeing!) A freelance consultant and writer, Jaclyn moved to London from Scotland a few years ago (hence the name Bumpkin) and is also in the midst of wedding planning mania! Her blog is a great mix of fashion, food, lifestyle and beauty; plus she shares my love of glittery things (and tulle!)  Be sure to read My Most Loved Winter Wear which will have you rummaging through your own wardrobes to emulate. I’ve spent ages going through her Outfit archive coveting her wardrobe!

Little Miss Katy

Katy is a fellow Hufflepuff AND third culture kid (fist bump) She grew up in Mallorca but now lives in London, and writes Little Miss Katy, a lifestyle blog bursting with colour and cheeriness- just like Katy. I’ve also had the pleasure of meeting Katy at events around the city and it’s got to be said, she’s a bit of a legend in my books! She has a weekly Happy Mondays series that I like to read over with my cup of tea, and also because every Monday needs every bit of cheer added to them, to be honest- voila, the latest Happy Monday post!

Emma Inks

Emma writes the kind of blog posts that I love- ones that tell a good story, have humour and are relatable. Also- she’s got killer style and hair that makes me want to reach for the bleach too. I’ve especially loved reading about her going to the Brighton Tattoo Convention (serious hair and tattoo envy on my part over here!) but after reading about The Art of Being Awkward in which she mentions “…I am still entirely awkward, too loud, too quiet, have bad timing and also physically as graceful as Bridget Jones on skis” that I knew her blog was going to be a regular read for me!

Ralph’s Birmingham

Ralph blogs all the way from across the pond in Birmingham, Alabama. He’s also a rare breed of blogger- he’s a guy! One of the reasons I really got into blogging was reading all about people and their daily lives from all over the world, and I really enjoy getting stuck into Ralph’s blog and learning more about his world. It’s so refreshing to read his thoughts and his enthusiasm and positivity are contagious. I’m so glad our paths crossed on Twitter! Read all about his Wedding Day- from the groom’s eyes– on his post We Got Married! (how sweet is this photo of him and his groomsmen?!)

Other awesome blogs:

Whisky & Pancakes: Lou’s latest post has beautiful snapshots from Culzean Castle and Country Park and now all I want to do is get out of London and breathe in some fresh country air.

Miscriant: a girl after my own theatre shaped heart and about to direct Arcadia for the Canterbury Players’ Autumn show at the Gulbenkian theatre this year- wowsers!

I hope you enjoy reading through my sidebar superstars- behind each and every blog is an amazing blogger.

I use the lovely folks at Passionfruit Ads to enable those ad spaces in my sidebar; it’s quick and easy and if you are a blogger, I can’t recommend them highly enough! I’ve discovered some amazing new blogs through their service. If you would like to advertise your blog on here, visit my Advertising Page.

Happy Weekend (and good reading!)

  1. I’m really glad that I was able to be apart of these other awesome bloggers. I especially like Emma’s post because it reminded me of how I was when I was younger.

  2. thanks Jaiminne! Only I wished I could make macarons like that.. but not really, because it’s so much better that E does the hard work 😉 x
