[dropcap]I[/dropcap]’ve been mulling over the last year this past week or so, thinking about where I was at the start of January 2014 and here we are once again, about to roll into January 2015. It’s been a bit of a roller coaster. At the start of the year I was stuck in a rut at an agency, using this blog as an outlet. One decision changed the entire course of the year- from leaving the agency, to throwing myself into start up life, to taking the risk of freelancing. How does one photo collage represent an entire year? It can’t. It’s been a mad, crazy year and I can’t even begin to imagine what 2015 will have in store.
I’ve packed more travel into this year than I ever have before- Paris, Dublin, Barcelona, Malta and Thailand. Here’s to more mini breaks!
July gave me a ring on my finger. After a mind boggling 11 years together, Robin and I got engaged. 11 years…do you even know how many trips to Ikea we’ve racked up? There’s been a lot of tea lights.
August gave us our two fur balls, Pepper & Louie, and it’s been chaos. Living with circus monkeys would probably be calmer (and tidier) but I love every little teensy bit of them. Plus, kitten snuggles.
There’s been a fair few gigs and events and I’ve enjoyed meeting new people and trying new things at every single one of them. There’s a few things in the pipeline that I’d like to develop! I’ll keep it short and sweet- 2014, you have been a drama queen but one I’ve needed in my life! Here’s to 2015. Happy New Year everyone.
