An mp3 playing beanie?

[dropcap]Y[/dropcap]ep! You read that right. This, my friends, is an an audio beanie. I didn’t know what to expect when it arrived in the post for me to test out, at worst I thought it would be a gimmick and at best it would be a handy new beanie to add to my collection. But, honestly, I was very pleasantly surprised! With speakers built into the ribbed band, the sound quality is great and the beanie looks like something you’d buy in a high street store. In fact, I have a near identical one in black!

The Kit Sound audio beanie has two parts; the white cable that is attached to the speakers in the hat, and a jack plug to connect into your device. I used my  iPhone and had no problems with sound quality. The cable was long enough so that I could put my phone into my pocket (front and back) but not too long that it was cumbersome. The little round speakers are positioned so that when you put the hat on, they sit right in front of your ears. I couldn’t even feel them and only realised they existed when I tried to work out where the music was coming from!

I actually laughed out loud when I put this on and switched on my playlist. It’s such a good gadget! It’s meant to be unisex, but to be honest, I can’t see Robin wearing this. I tested it out when tidying up the garden; at one point, I had that panicky ‘where’s my phone’ moment. Usually when I wear headphones, I start fiddling with them; they fall out or they don’t feel comfortable after a while, so for me, this beanie is super handy.

I took these photos on my phone for Three , to show that phone accessories needn’t be ugly or overly techie looking. It’s a stealthy audio beanie!

^^This beanie was sent to me to review, but all thoughts and opinions are my own…I genuinely love this!^^
