ice ice baby

[dropcap]B[/dropcap]logging is a funny old thing isn’t it? I had the pleasure of attending Vashi’s diamond jewellery viewing party a few nights ago, looking at and trying on beautiful diamond rings. However, hours before this photo was taken, I was on my hands and knees at the Vet, juggling a wriggly kitten, a poo bag and some wet wipes in my hands, all in a sweaty fluster. Sarah and I arrived at the Tart bar, grabbed a Mojito each and patiently waited until the crowd around the table of diamonds had calmed down before managing to sneak a few peeks ourselves. I tried on a few rings, terrified they would get stuck on my fingers or worse, I would drop them and watch in horror as they rolled away forever. I think the yellow gemstone ring I’m wearing on my pinkie (like a boss) was the most popular as it was the biggest and sparkliest piece of bling on show. I just know that if I were to wear that 18k white gold K shaped pendant , I would transform into a Kardashian glamazon, all perfectly contoured face and hair.

Vashi who were hosting the event, was founded by Vashi Dominguez, a personal jeweller to high profile clients for years based in Mayfair. You can book a viewing on their website, or buy a piece online via their website. You can also create a bespoke ring online too, which I thought was rather clever. You can see some photos from the event here; where Laura Scott’s photography skills far outweigh anything I could conjure up!

Sadly, the only ice I would come away with that evening was the ice in my glass, which to be honest, was a lovely way to finish off the evening! Thank you for the invite Vashi!
