[dropcap]M[/dropcap]y two little monsters are growing as fast as Usain Bolt on a 100m track. They are double the size from when they first arrived, but somehow are still teeny tiny. My once tidy home is a mess of toys that either squeak, rattle or are shaped like mice, my carefully selected sofas are covered in throws to stop sharp little claws scratching them, the kitchen floor is stained with trodden in kitten food and kitty litter gravel. It’s chaos, and its wonderful.
Some things that I have recently discovered from these two,
– they think nothing of ruffling through your hair and nibbling at it in the morning as a means to wake you up. Cat breath hair is all the rage.
– they like wrestling. Especially on the bed. At 5am.
– the cookies you place on the table to cool will be hunted and destroyed, and trodden into the kitchen floor for good measure.
– water is great and showers are fun. They will jump in with you if you do not shut the bathroom door.
They are just the friendliest, funniest little things ever and as much as I want them to stay little forever, I can’t wait for them to grow up to be big handsome boys. They are my little chickens, and they make us so happy!
