the times they are a-changing

[dropcap]I[/dropcap] have news. Throughout the year I have mentioned the trials and tribulations of start up life and the challenges of setting up a business. There have been late late nights, early mornings, tears and tantrums, but it was always a labour of love. There was the drive to build something incredibly awesome.  Over time, circumstances changed and my heart was no longer in this venture. I have felt so lucky to be a part of something with my best friend and to have had a crazy ride working together- but as the business rolled on, one of the (many) reasons I felt my time was up was that my other passion was pulling me into another direction- that passion is writing.

So guys, I am giving this writing thing a chance. It’s about time I quietened that little voice whispering ‘what if…’ and I’m jumping off the deep end to give this space (and other freelancing ventures) a go. I’m scared, the bills aren’t going to pay themselves, but I’m also incredibly excited of what the future holds. It’s Day One of this new world and I’ve still yet to find my feet, but I’m so happy to be here.

As my man Bob Dylan said, “Dont think twice, it’s alright”

I’m going to go with that.

  1. Yay congrats Angela! Let us know how you get on, it’s something I think about a lot but don’t have the courage to do (just yet anyway)! So well done. I’m wishing you loads of luck in your new venture – writing is the best! x
