Malta with the girls

[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ello from sunny Malta! After spending half my holiday budget at the MAC store in Heathrow, we jumped onto a plane on Friday night and arrived 3 hours later, into the warm night air of Malta. By the time we got to our villa, we were completely wiped but sat outside anyway on the pool terrace, listening to the crickets, giggling deliriously. And then, I woke up to this….

I have since had Jay Z’s Big Pimpin’ in my head. The views from our villa are beautiful! Here’s a tip- nobody walks in Malta. We learnt the hard way that you couldn’t walk to the shops from where we’re staying. Hire a car, as we have wasted so much money on cabs! We stocked up on supplies and tonnes of fruit from a supermarket a short ride away- I have feasted on flat peaches and watermelon like life depended on it. Everyone here is so friendly and have been quick to help us out- when we tried to get  a taxi back to the villa, not one was to be found, but the guy at the petrol station sent his son to give us a lift back.

Here’s a little video so far- we leave early in the morning and head straight back into the office, waaaah!!

  1. Malta is a dream! We got to visit just before moving back to the states and loved our day there. Looks like you guys had a lovely view!!

  2. Malta is just gorgeous – amazing for diving. I’m ‘wel jel’ as the kids say. I’ll also have Big Pimpin’ in my head for the rest of the day now so thanks for that… TUUUUNE!
