[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he week I took off for some Me time seems ages ago, but for now, I have these snapshots of our East London wanderings on a crispy Friday morning. I love the freedom of not having to by anywhere, to not be on the clock, replying to email or turning green under a fluorescent light. It was a perfect morning, just me and my sister and takeaway cups of coffee.
The majority of these were taken on Redchurch Street- it’s just teeming with beautiful graffiti on every wall and corner. Standing in front of the angel wing mural really makes me wish I was a couple of inches taller- that would have been perfect! Best moment- Amelia spotting sweet old Pikachu on one wall… before I pointed out it was Pervy Pikachu with it’s weener out. I also loved the Gene Wilder face glued to a wall off Brick Lane- his face reminds me of a lovely neighbour we used to have. Geeeeeene! She shot these on a Canon 7D and used a Canon 45mm tilt shift lens to get the blurred effect on some of the photos. Everything else was snapped with a Canon 35mm 1.4 lens.
Fantastic photos! I need a new camera….Caroline xCocktails and Caroline
