Malaysian Merdeka Carnival in the UK

[dropcap]H[/dropcap]ere’s a little peek into last weekend’s Merdeka Carnival in Hertford. I ate all the chicken satay. NOT SORRY. I ate way too much and “je ne regrette rien”. Authentic roti canai, satay, curry puffs, kuih, mee goreng, kuey teow and steaming cups of sweet teh tarik. Needless to say, I left with so many happy tummy feels.

Watching the lion dance, silat demos, the concerts, and meeting the veterans; it’s all so good and truly a taste of Malaysia.

Full details on the way…
